Well, well! Guess what game I just beat! Battletoads! Finally!!! And in one credit too! And with only 1 life and 2 health left!

Just to round the series out to an even 50, I might do five more questions if I get any good ones (depending on how good they are). Or I might change my mind midway through depending on how things go in my personal life.

Just had my upper right WISDOM tooth pulled earlier today. It was an... ENLIGHTENING experience you could say. (bu-dum-tss!)

I bought Pikmin 4, and I just can't get into it like I assumed I would. Here is a list of the main problems that I have with the game:

1 - My biggest problem with the game is the auto-targeting lock on system. In the first two games you had to carefully aim your pikmin, and be mindful of where on the enemy you throw, or not to throw them off a cliff. And in Pikmin 3, they had a lock on targeting system, but you had to press some buttons to do that and I just choice not to. But in Pikmin 4 it locks on to your target automatically, and, as far as I can tell, you have no way of turning it off. So, because there is no aiming, fighting enemies feels mindless and boring and I hate it. And speaking of enemies, that brings us to my next biggest problem with the game.

2 - Now with them having the auto-targeting, you might think, well, maybe that's because the enemies are tougher and there's a lot more of them. But no! The enemies in a pikmin game have never been easier! I don't know why Nintendo keeps feeling the need to make the enemies easier with each new pikmin game, but here ya go! They've gone too far this time. They were already too easy in Pikmin 3, but now it's just pathetic. I'm not asking for the enemies to feeling impossible, but I do want to have to put some thought and effort with an enemy/hazard encounter.

3 - And as if nerfing the enemies into oblivion wasn't enough, most of the enemy encounters are you facing just one enemy at a time. Back in the pikmin 1 and 2 days, the hardest part was facing off against multiple enemies at time. But that doesn't happen in Pikmin 4!

4 - This game destroyed the resource management aspect of the caves I loved in Pikmin 2 because the caves are not long or dangerous enough.

It's for these reasons that I find the caves boring when I thought I would enjoy them. Only the engulfed castle, Cavern for a King, and a few others I really enjoyed. The engulfed castle and the Cavern for a King were the only caves that felt like pikmin 2 caves.

5 - Because the game is way too easy and forgiving most of the time, many of the upgrades are practically meaningless.

6 - I really am starting to miss the controls in Pikmin 1 and 2. No auto aim. Using the c-stick for charge. It was simpler, and allowed for more freedom. Why did Nintendo feel the need to fix what wasn't broken?

7 - Actually needing to count out how many pikmin you throw on to a collectable is now gone. It stops you when you reach a certain amount for a half a second before you can throw again. It just feels awkward. I'd prefer the counting. It kept your mind more engaged. They are just dumbing down Pikmin games needlessly. I hate it.

8 - The new music is bland and forgettable. Compare the ost to the first three games, and it's night and day! It's like the music composers at Nintendo either suck at thier job, or they got lazy, or they stopped caring. The caves have just one theme in 4, whereas in 2 there were a bunch.

9 - If you lose even just 1 pikmin, the game asks you if you want to start the day over. Man! Pikmin 4 is really afraid of you losing any pikmin at all.

10 - Every time your pikmin are in danger, the characters blabber about getting your pikmin to safety. I get it! Shut up! Stop babying me! Let me learn though experience. You don't need to tell me all the time. This game is too hand holdy.

11 - Every time I lose a Pikmin that guy Colin feels the need to mention it. It's so annoying. I know I lost a pikmin captain obvious.

12 - The text of these guys talking appears in the middle of the screen, in the middle of the action, which is annoying and distracting.

13 - The character designs look off.

14 - The game is a little too cutesy in it's style and appearance. This was a problem in 3 as well. The first two games were cute, but not overly so.

15 - The enemies don't respawn in either the overworld nor the caves after you've defeated them, leaving these places barren, lifeless and boring in future visits.

In conclusion, I really don't like the direction the pikmin games are going in. I'm no longer a pikmin fan if this keeps up. The same thing happened with the Mario franchise for me. I only really enjoy the older Mario games.
